The Yin-Cheng Journal of Contemporary Buddhism is a peer-reviewed open access academic journal that connects cutting-edge scholarship with voices from across the Buddhist world to address pressing ethical, environmental, and social issues. Established in honour of Venerable Cheng Yen 證嚴 and her mentor Venerable Yinshun 印順 — both pioneers in bringing the rich resources of Buddhism to bear on the urgent needs of the modern world — the journal adopts an interdisciplinary, collaborative, and innovative approach to explore how Buddhist thought and practice can illuminate major questions of modern life.
